6 nabbed as PDEA dismantles drug den

SIX people were arrested while over P100,000 worth of illegal drugs seized as the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) dismantled a drug den late Friday, November 26, 2021 in Zamboanga City.

PDEA Investigation Agent III Jury Rocamora said the drug den was dismantled in a raid around 6:50 p.m. Friday, November 26, 2021 at Sitio Barigon in Tugbungan village.

Rocamora identified the arrested suspects as the following: Samuel Zambales; Mary Cris Enciso; Romel Alabado; Bensar Sabdani; William Fernandez; and, Robin Jardiolin.

Rocamora said that the PDEA operatives, armed with a search warrant, raided the drug den maintained by Zambales and his live-in partner, Enciso, following series of surveillance of the place.

He said that raiding team recovered some 15 grams of suspected shabu worth P102,000, and several illegal drug paraphernalia from the drug den.

He said that the suspects were detained while charges for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 are being readied against them. (SunStar Zamboanga)
