THE Ministry of Basic, Higher, and Technical Education in the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (MBHTE-Barmm) is implementing school building projects in two villages in Midsayap, North Cotabato.

The recipients of the projects are the Endaila Silongan Central Elementary School and Sambulawan Elementary School. The projects are funded through the 2020 Transitional Development Impact Fund (TDIF) of Barmm Member of Parliament Aida Silongan.

Lawyer Haron Meling, MBHTE deputy minister, said the approved program of works includes two school buildings with two classrooms per building, and water and sanitation facilities per school with the total amount of P2.2 million per school and P1.1 million per water and station facility.

Silongan said the TDIF continuously implement quick impact projects (QIPs) for the development of the Bangsamoro region during the transition period.

Meling said the ministry is looking forward to give services to other component schools of Barmm.

Silongan and Meling spearheaded the simultaneous groundbreaking ceremonies of the school building projects Wednesday, July 14. (SunStar Zamboanga)
