THE 2020 Business One Stop Shop (Boss) officially wrapped up its more than two-week operations with over 11,000 applications.

As of its last day of operation on Monday, January 20, the Boss accepted a total of 11,131 applications, of which 11,047 were assessed.

Business Permits and Licensing Division Chief Benjie Barredo said the total issued business permits facilitated through the Boss have reached 7,494.

Barredo said the Boss collected P175 million in local revenue, with around more or less P300 million still to be collected by the Office of the City Treasurer within the year.

Barredo noted that out of the total applications made at the Boss this year, 287 are new applications, a higher figure compared to the 55 new applications in January 2019.

He said the Boss remained in operation until 10 p.m. to process the large volume of applications received on its last day.

He said the applications that made the January 20 cut-off but were not paid during the day will have no fines or penalties. (SunStar Zamboanga)
