Cops nab 9th most wanted person in Zambo Norte

LAWMEN have arrested the Top 9 most wanted person in Sindangan, Zamboanga del Norte, the police said Wednesday, December 5.

Chief Superintendent Emmanuel Luis Licup, Police Regional Office-Zamboanga Peninsula director, identified the arrested suspect as Wilson Mendez, 36, a resident of Barangay Paranglumba village, Siayan, Zamboanga del Norte.

Licup said Mendez was arrested after being served the warrant of arrest at 8:25 a.m. Monday in Lower Irasan village, Roxas, in the same province.

He said Mendez has standing warrant of arrest for the crime of attempted homicide with P12,000 recommended bail issued on September 4, 2017 by the court of Sindangan.

The police director said the suspect was taken to Sindangan District Hospital for physical and medical examination and then to the police headquarters for proper disposition. (SunStar Philippines)
