CSC awards CNA certificate to ZC employees’ association

THE Civil Service Commission (CSC) has awarded the Zamboanga City Government Employees Association (ZCGEA) the certificate of registration for the Collective Negotiation Agreement (CNA) the ZCGEA entered into for the benefit and welfare of the more than 2,000 city government employees.

CSC-Zamboanga City Field Office head Faida Aisha Calapardo handed over the CNA No. 2726 certificate of registration to Mayor John Dalipe and ZCGEA officers during the flag raising ceremony Monday, June 5, 2023 in front of City Hall.

The agreement is effective February 18 to February 17, 2026 and is pursuant to the amended rules and regulations government the rights of employees to organize.

Dalipe expressed elation stating that the CNA is a testament to the good working relationship between the city government and its rank and file employees.

The CNA is a contract negotiated between the employees association as the negotiating unit and the city government management on the terms and conditions of employment and its improvements that are not fixed by law.

The benefits included are bonuses and other privileges for the employees at the end of the year. (SunStar Zamboanga)
