A HIGH-value target (HVT) drug personality was arrested Tuesday, April 6, in an anti-drug operation in Zamboanga City, the police reported.

Police Brigadier General Ronaldo Genaro Ylagan, Police Regional Office-Zamboanga Peninsula director, identified the arrested suspect as Abdurakman Arpa, alias Amman, 29, a resident of Sitio Asinan in Kasanyngan village, Zamboanga City.

Ylagan said Arpa was arrested in a buy-bust operation around 11:05 a.m. Tuesday along Don Toribio Street in Tetuan village, Zamboanga City.

Seized from Arpa were 23 grams of shabu worth P156,400 and four P1,000 bills as boodle money topped with one genuine P1,000 as marked money.

Ylagan said the anti-drug operation was launched by the Regional Drug Enforcement Unit headed by Police Lieutenant Colonel Muammar Mukaram following surveillance on the illegal drug trade activity of the suspect. (SunStar Zamboanga)
