Zambo Peninsula police receives 17 new vehicles

THE Police Regional Office (PRO)-Zamboanga Peninsula received Saturday, December 11, some 17 new vehicles from the Philippine National Police (PNP) Logistics Office.

Police Birgadier General Franco Simborio, PRO-Zamboanga Peninsula director, said that the vehicles are part of the PNP capability enhancement program.

The vehicles are the following: 12 units of four-by-two patrol jeep (Toyota Hi-Lux); four units of four-by-four personnel carrier (Toyota Hi-Lux), and one-unit shuttle bus (Hino Bus).

Simborio said that the 2nd Zamboanga del Norte Provincial Mobile Force Company, 2nd Zamboanga del Sur Provincial Mobile Force Company, 2nd Zamboanga Sibugay Provincial Mobile Force Company, and 2nd Zamboanga City Mobile Force Company will receive each of four-by-four personnel carrier.

He said that the 12 units of four-by-two patrol jeep will be assigned to the Siocon Municipal Police Station in Zamboanga del Norte and Zamboanga City Police Office’s (ZCPO) Stations 1 to 11. (SunStar Zamboanga)
