THE City Government of Zamboanga on Wednesday, June 1, 2022, turned over two infrastructure projects worth P17.16 million in Pasonanca village.

The projects include a Covered Court and a two-storey six-classroom school building.

Mayor Maria Isabelle Climaco-Salazar turned over the P3.7 million covered court to the officials of Pasonanca village headed by Chairperson Efigenio Julian, Jr.

The two-storey six-classroom building was turned over to the officials of the Department of Education and Upper Pasonanca Elementary School.

The school building was constructed in preparation for the face-to-face classes under the new normal next school year.

The school building sits in a 641.24-square meter area and costs P13.46 million.

Salazar said the implementation of the two projects is in line with her unyielding support to the education and the village sectors.

Representatives from the City Engineer's Office joined Salazar in the turnover of the two projects. (SunStar Zamboanga)
