Zamboanga City mayor launches social service program

ZAMBOANGA City Mayor John Dalipe launched on his birthday Friday, September 16, 2022, what would become his administration’s legacy on inclusive social services dubbed “Justo y Decente Ayuda na Barangay” Program designed to reach out to the villages in both the first and second districts in this city.

An eponym of his initials JD, the program will bring City Hall closer to its constituents through the provision of various social services that will best benefit the interest of the community.

Dalipe said it is an inter-office collaboration with one vision of bringing Zamboanga City to more progress and more development with sincere service.

Components of the program include “JD Ayuda Agricultural” that seeks to give free vegetable seeds to encourage the community to adopt backyard farming in partnership with the Office of the City Agriculture.

“JD Ayuda Legal” for free legal counseling and where lawyers are to provide access to legal education that will help the community know about their rights and privileges as a member of the community and address problems that demand legal intervention.
