Zamboanga village gets P1.99-M infra projects

THE Zamboanga City Government on Monday, April 15, turned over two infrastructure projects amounting to P1.99 million to the village of Labuan in the west coast.

The projects, the turnover of which spearheaded by Mayor Maria Isabelle Climaco-Salazar, included a day care center worth P1.499 million and a public toilet worth P499,474.

Salazar vowed to continue to implement more projects and programs in the village in line with her thrust on security, health and education (SHE).

The mayor was joined by representatives from the City Engineer’s Office and other city officials during the turnover ceremony.

Labuan village officials led by Chairperson Ronald Maravilla expressed gratitude to the mayor and the local government for the projects.

They promised to ensure that the facilities are put into good use for the best interest of the beneficiaries. (Bong Garcia)
