A BARANGAY kagawad, his wife and nephew were killed, while his daughter was injured when they were shot by an unidentified suspect in Daraga town, Albay, at 2 a.m. Monday.

According to a Bombo Radyo report, the slain victims were identified as Barangay Nabasan kagawad Wenifredo Lotino, 45; his wife Evelyn Lotino, 45; and nephew Anjo Martus, 20.

Injured was Lotino’s 19-year-old daughter, Jenny.

The victims were all residents of Barangay Nabasan, where the crime took place.

Initial investigation disclosed that the suspect used a high-powered firearm, which authorities has yet to identify.

Investigations are ongoing as of this posting Monday to determine the motive behind the crime. (Sunnex)
