MANILA -- Starstruck alumni Tyron Perez was found dead in Valenzuela City days before New Year.

Tyron’s death was a buzz in the social networking site, Twitter late Thursday night.

According to reports, the actor's body was found on the backseat of a black car with plate number ZSP-875 in Barangay Ugong, Valenzuela City.

Initial investigation showed the actor sustained a gunshot wound at his right temple.

On Thursday evening, King of Talk Boy Abunda revealed on ABS-CBN’s late news program Bandila that Tyron's manager Gerry Sineneng was contacting the actor for a possible TV guesting but got no answer from the actor.

Abunda said Tyron already told his manager of his plan of leaving showbiz to spend more time with his wife, Liv, a flight attendant, in the US.

In a television interview with Liv that was aired on "Umagang Kay Ganda" Friday morning, the actor's wife revealed they are going through marital problems but she did not expect this kind of ending.

Reports said the actor was staying in his friend’s house for a couple of days now.

According to Liv, though they have problems, she was able to talk to Tyron on December 26 and minutes before her husband died.

"Parang nahulog na phone, narinig ko lang siya na parang nagstruggle siya, huminga siya. Nahulog then hello ako ng hello pero wala na."

Sun.Star also received word from Star Magic, the talent arm of ABS-CBN, on Tyron's sudden death.

"Our deepest condolences to the family of Tyron. Let's pray for the eternal repose of his soul,” the Star Magic said in a statement.

Tyron was last seen in the afternoon soap "Mula Sa Puso" on the Kapamilya Network. (Sunnex)
