AN ALLEGED member of the "Aki Cuadra" robbery group in Bacolod City was arrested by Police Station 6 personnel along 6th Road in Barangay Taculing around 4 p.m. Wednesday, May 25, 2022.

Police Station 6 commander Major Leo Estopa identified the suspect as Lloyd Martin Lopez, 36, of the barangay’s Purok Planeta.

Lopez was arrested on the strength of an arrest warrant for service of sentence for violation of Sections 5 and 11 of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.

Estopa said the arrest warrant was issued by Judge Juvy Victoriano-Dioso of Bacolod City Regional Trial Court Branch 49, who denied him bail.

He added that Lopez was also tagged as 8th most wanted person of the station and his group was involved in several robbery incidents in Bacolod City.

Estopa noted that they are still waiting for the commitment order of Lopez to transfer him to the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology.
