Drug den dismantled, 5 persons arrested

THE Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA)-Western Visayas, along with the Bacolod City Police Station 3, dismantled a suspected drug den and arrested five persons in a drug bust in Purok Langis, Barangay Banago, Bacolod City Monday afternoon, March 15.

Police identified the suspects as Val Demafiles, Paul Dasuyo, John Mark Limson, Jomar Parar and Felix Albarico, all residents of Bacolod City.

The suspects were arrested after they sold a sachet of shabu to a police undercover around 5:30 p.m.

Police recovered from the suspects' possession four sachets of shabu weighing 12 grams with an estimated market value of P81,600.

Police records showed Demafiles was identified as the suspected drug den maintainer in Purok Langis.

The suspects are detained at the custodial facility of Police Station 3. They are facing charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
