Elderly man hacked dead

AN ELDERLY man died after he was hacked in Barangay Mansablay, Isabela, Negros Occidental on Sunday, December 16.

Police identified the victim as Tiborcio Dongcoy, 63, of the said village.

Police records showed that the victim and suspect Johnny Taying, 41, were having a conversation in front of the victim’s house when Taying allegedly attacked him with a bolo.

The victim succumbed to head injuries.

Taying was reportedly drunk when he committed the crime.

Police eyed grudge as the motive.
