Based on the investigation of Binalbagan PNP, the victim was found dead with his body floating at the sea when discovered by fisher folk John Rey Castillo when he and his group came out from the sea after fishing.

The victim was last seen by the locals around 8 p.m. on January 8, 2020 sitting at the concrete seawall drinking rhum alone, which he usually does.
