Gatuslao is richest NegOcc board member

BOARD Member Rita Gatuslao (5th district) is now the richest among the new members of the Provincial Board of Negros Occidental.

Gatuslao, an optometrist by profession, has a net worth of P34.5 million based on her statement of assets, liabilities and net worth (SALN) for 2018.

Former board member Pedro Zayco who is now mayor of Kabankalan City has been the richest member of the provincial board for the past nine years.

Board Member Valentino Miguel Alonzo (6th dist.), is second to Gatuslao with a net worth of P14.7 million.

The net worth declared by the rest of the board members were: Sixto Teofilo Guanzon (2nd dist.)- P10.78 million; Jose Benito Alonzo (4th dist.)- P6.27 million; Araceli Somosa (1st dist.)- P5.81 million; Agustin Ernesto Bascon (5th dist.)- P1.9 million; Jeffrey Tubola (6th dist.)- P470,000 and Aurelio Garita (Philippine Councilors League interim representative)- P64,000.

Vice Governor Jeffrey Ferrer declared his net worth at P100,538,000. (TDE)
