Himamaylan gets P500,000 grant for cultural mapping project

THE National Commission for Culture and the Arts (NCCA) provided technical assistance and funding amounting to P500,000 for a local mapping project in Himamaylan City.

The said cultural mapping aims to preserve and promote cultural assets.

Himamaylan City Mayor Raymund Tongson thanked the NCCA for the said support as it will help Himamaylanons understand and recognize cultural diversity for better economic, social and regional development. (PR)
