BACOLOD. Members of progressive groups in Negros Occidental hold a rally at the Fountain of Justice in Bacolod City on Independence Day. Among the issues they raised include the country's rights over West Philippine Sea, call for a wage hike, high prices of goods, genuine land reform and cash assistance during this Covid-19 pandemic, among others.
