Negros Occidental logs 17 new Covid-19 cases

THE 17 new coronavirus disease (Covid-19) cases in Western Visayas are from Negros Occidental, based on the data released Wednesday, July 8, 2020, by the Department of Health-Western Visayas.

The patients are Filipino contract workers and locally stranded individuals who have already arrived in the province.

The new positive patients are from the following areas:

*La Castellana: 26-year-old female LSI

*Calatrava: 33-year-old female overseas Filipino worker (OFW) and a 32-year-old male LSI

*Bago City: 37-year-old male

*San Enrique: 32-year-old female LSI

*Talisay City: 32-year-old female LSI and a 34-year-old male

*Hinoba-an: 52-year-old female LSI

*Sagay City: 44-year-old male, 22-year-old female LSI, and 58-year-old male LSI

*Silay City: 45-year-old male and 42-year-old female LSI

*Himamaylan City: 69-year-old female

*Sipalay City: 48-year-old female LSI and Pulupandan-25 year-old female OFW.

As of July 8, Western Visayas has a total of 412 Covid-19 confirmed cases.
