IT’S normal working days ahead at the Provincial Capitol even if 12 more Capitol employees tested positive for coronavirus Tuesday, May 4, said lawyer Rayfrando Diaz, provincial administrator.

Diaz said four-day work week is only observed at the Capitol.

He said the 12 employees who tested positive for the virus were already sent to the Provincial Healing Center in Mambukal Resort in Murcia and that most of them are asymptomatic.

Those who tested positive for Covid-19 are employees from the Provincial Agriculture Office, Provincial Procurement Depot, Provincial Health Office and Security and Safety Division.

"We don't have the recommendation from our medical team that's why we won't do a lockdown," Diaz said.

"We can handle the situation and Kaya ta ni," Diaz said.

He said contact tracing is now ongoing at the provincial Capitol and that the respective families of those who tested positive have been put in isolation and are scheduled for swab test.

Meanwhile, Provincial Agriculture Office head Japhet Masculino confirmed Tuesday, May 4, that he tested positive for coronavirus.

He said he submitted himself to a swab test on Monday, May 3, as per recommendation of Provincial Health Office head Dr. Ernell Tumimbang and his result came out Tuesday morning.

He said he has a sore throat and cough but he is feeling well.

"I don't know where I got the virus as an employee at my office who had close contact with her son-in-law was tested negative of the virus," Masculino said.
