Probe up on alleged abduction of 2 men in Bacolod

OPERATIVES of Police Station 1 are still conducting a thorough investigation on the alleged abduction of two men at Barangay 35 in Bacolod City earlier this week, Station 1 commander Major Ramel Sarona said Friday, August 5, 2022, said the families of Jonel Villalon, 45, and his friend Ximen Rojo, 19, both of the barangay’s Purok Tuhaw sought their help to locate them.

Investigation showed that at about 10 p.m. on Tuesday, August 2, 2022, Rojo and Villalon were at the seawall in Purok Tuhaw when four men approached them.

“Witnesses said that there was no commotion and both Rojo and Villalon voluntarily went with the men,” Sarona said, as he stressed that they could not determine yet if there was really an abduction or whether the suspects were armed.

He said that the two probably knew the suspects and that they are still in Bacolod City.
