Vietnam Airlines launches more flights to Bacolod

THE official flag carrier of Vietnam, Vietnam Airlines, is planning to offer a direct flight from Ho Chi Minh City (HCMC), Vietnam to Bacolod City, Philippines for the first-leg semi-final match of the Asean Football Federation (AFF) Suzuki Cup 2018.

The additional flights to Bacolod will serve football fans, Saigon Online reported on its website.

The flight will depart from HCMC at 11 a.m. of December 2 on an A321 plane, and the return flights will take off at 11.30 p.m. local time of the same day, Saigon Online said.

The carrier will cooperate with travel companies to launch travel packages with return airfare, ticket for the match, tour guide, meals and transport, it added.

Vietnam Airlines conducted two direct flights from Hanoi to Bacolod City to carry members of the national football team and fans to the neighboring country, the news report said.

Vietnam will play its semifinal match against the Philippines at the AFF Suzuki Cup 2018 football tournament on December 2. (PR)
