Alumni groups in Triangular bowlfest finals

THE combined effort of Negros Occidental High School '94/90 bowlers pushed their way up to number one spot in Bracket "A" of the ongoing Ninth Triangular Bowlfest for Unity 2018 at Goldenfield Commercial Complex Negros Super Lanes.

Toto Flores of '94 and his team scored the highest total score 1,587 pinfalls with the help of powerhouse players Mike Corral of '90.

The leaders are trailed by the mixed teams of N95 led by Essho Garcia with 1,557 and the girls-powered B81 with 1,487. Running 4th B73 pinned down 1,464.

In other groups, Bacolod City National High School/BNHS '74 got the best score of 1,456 pins in "B" while N85 had a monster output with 1,521 in "C".

Completing the top 4 teams: N87, 1,449; B84, 1,437; N83, 1,436 in “B”; and B85, 1,404; D77, 1,399; N92/96, 1,371 in “C.

After the five-scheduled bracketing finals, the top teams of each group will enjoy a twice-to-beat advantage in the championship round and wait for the challenger in the up-the-ladder finals on July 7.

One of the objectives of the bowlfest is to unite the three biggest high school alumni associations in Bacolod City through the sport of bowling, according to the organizer.
