UNDEFEATED University of Negros Occidental-Recoletos/Red House Taiwan Shabu Shabu (7-0) is looking to snatch their final win Sunday when they face University of St. La Salle/Freeze Sportswear (2-5) at 2 p.m. for the last elimination game of the 2018 Negros Basketball Association (NBA) President's Cup at the Bacolod Tay Tung High School.

Meanwhile, Melfern (2-5) will also try to hurdle Duke Jay Game Farm (3-4) at 3:45 p.m. to secure spot in the knockout quarterfinals while ABF Supreme/Silvergraces Construction (4-3) hope to salvage their last elimination match at 5:30 p.m. against La Consolacion College Bacolod/Davies Paint-J Squared Construction – which had a huge game lately forcing the league leader Shabu Shabu in double overtime. Despite the 100-97 loss, Davies remains a dangerous opponent which can brush off its opponent if taken lightly.

Regardless of Sunday’s result, Shabu Shabu is already assured of semi-final seat alongside Colegio de Sta. Ana de Victorias/Silver Dragon Construction. (HGD)
