Town councilor killed in Ilocos Norte

A TOWN councilor was killed Thursday in Pariir village, Ilocos Norte.

A radio report said that Dingras town Councilor Randolp Magno died on the spot after he was shot by still unidentified suspects.

Magno was seated outside a machine shop when he was shot. The police said five empty shells were found outside the crime scene. One shop worker was also wounded.

Investigation on the identity and motive of the suspects is ongoing as of this posting Thursday. (Sunnex)
