Mrs. Eco international visits Baguio-Benguet

MRS. Eco Philippines 2019 Shiela Teodoro DeForest hopes to bag the international crown with her visit to the city of pines.

DeForest will represent the Philippines in the Mrs. Eco International in Las Vegas, Nevada, United States of America on June 24 to 29 and has chosen Baguio and Benguet to be featured in her pageant video, which will be aired on the coronation night and will feature tourist destination in both areas.

DeForest paid a visit to the annual Baguio Correspondents and Broadcasters Club’s Lucky Summer Visitor Easter celebration over the weekend, with goodies for the children of the media, as part of her visit to the highlands.

The Mrs. Eco candidate has been a runway model since she was 18 years old. She is also a TV commercial and print model with Wilhelmina Modeling Agency, Denver, Colorado, USA, and has modeled in Dubai, United Arab Emirates; Doha, Qatar; Vancouver and Toronto, Canada; and Singapore. She was also the face of Emirates Airline.

DeForest is a 45-year-old Filipina born in Pagsanjan, Laguna. She now resides with her husband, Tim, in Golden, Colorado, USA.

She finished a Bachelor of Science Tourism degree at the University of the Philippines Asian Institute of Tourism, Diliman and worked in the country before heading to a career aboard.

Earth Pageants Inc. was founded in 2016 by Elite Miss USA Kristin Chucci 2016 as a more environment focused pageant with three international divisions: Ms. ECO International, Teen ECO International and Mrs. ECO International.
