Padilla: When love and prayers work together, expect a masterpiece

Nars Padilla

LIKE the silver lining behind the dark clouds, the 32nd year anniversary celebration was a glorious, joyful and successful celebration. A masterpiece! The weather was just perfect for the blessed occasion. Thank you to Rev. Fr. Federico Gregorio who celebrated the Holy Eucharist and his sacristan Brother Joshua Miguel Calma. Both holy men are from the Recoletos Seminary, Baguio. We are deeply elated for their spiritual-religious services. In the same manner, “maraming maraming salamat po sa mga talented male choir from Don Bosco Catholic Church Parish from Trancoville Barangay led by my esteemed friend former City GSO Officer Ruben Concio.” Their select repertoire of religious songs and hymns added joy, glory and ambiance to the mass.

Thank you also to all the beautiful people and Mama Mary devotees who joined us to celebrate the historic occasion, with faith and passion. Our very special and heartfelt “pasasalamat” to our sponsor-benefactors who included Congressman and Mrs. Mark Go, Mayor Mauricio Domogan, Councilor Elaine Sembrano, couple Eddie and Tessie Marcelo, Raffy Estocapio, the Leyson family from Urdanita City, the Aguinaldo family from Barangay Pinsao Proper, couple Pao and Tessie Sy, Atty. and Mrs. Moises Cating, my son-in-law and wife Pipes Buena, my son Fritzgerald and family, teacher Dulay whose residence is just across the Shrine of the Brown Madonna at Km. 7 Asin Road. May we all continue to receive the Blessing of the Lord and Mama Mary today, tomorrow and into the future, wherever we are and whatever we are doing.

UNDER THE SUN. A large umbrella shields students from the heat as they go home riding a bike with sidecar from Buenlag Central School in Calasiao, Pangasinan on Thursday (April 25, 2024). Pangasinan has been posting over 40 degrees Celsius heat index since a few weeks ago, and local government officials have implemented various measures to lessen the impact of the high heat index to the students.
