1 killed in Agusan drug bust

A 19-YEAR-OLD man was shot dead by police officers after he allegedly resisted arrest during a drug bust Tuesday, December 11, in Zone 1, Barangay Agusan.

Police said the suspect, identified as Drickly Jones "Ampo" Ravidas, after the transaction with an undercover police, pulled out his .38 caliber revolver and fought authorities.

He sustained two gunshot wounds and was declared dead on arrival at the Northern Mindanao Medical Center (NMMC).

Recovered from the crime scene were two caliber 9mm fire cartridge cases, one fired bullet, a 38 caliber revolver with one fire cartridge case, one misfire cartridge, and four cartridges for cal. 38.

Also recovered were a piece of plastic sachet containing alleged shabu and a buy-bust money worth P500.
