2 killed, 3 injured in road mishap

TWO passengers were killed while two others were wounded in a road mishap involving a van, a multicab, and a motorcycle along the national highway in Jasaan, Misamis Oriental.

Police said the two fatalities were passengers of a multicab. One of the victims were identified as Milijun Masion and while the other remains unidentified.

Investigation disclosed that an L300 van driven by John Allen Elcarte, 25, of Bagakay, Ozamis City, swerved to the opposite direction and bumped into the multicab driven by Ryan Delima, 30, resident of San Martin, Villanueva, Misamis Oriental and a motorcycle driven by Adan Pasol, a resident of Lagonglong town.

The drivers of the three vehicles sustained injuries and were rushed to the hospital.

Authorities are still investigating the incident.
