49 new cases, zero deaths in Cagayan de Oro

THE City Health Office reported on Friday, January 14, 2022, 49 new cases of coronavirus disease (Covid-19) that brought Cagayan de Oro's total caseload to 20,827.

According to the City Health Office, of the 49 new cases, two were returning overseas Filipinos (ROFs), and 47 were local transmissions.

Of the 47 new local cases, 24 were local index cases, 10 were local cases with link, 12 were local authorized persons outside residence (Apors), and one Apor with link.

The city health noted a rise in the number of active cases in the city.

Cagayan de Oro logged 372 active cases.

Of the figure, 83 were admitted to the Northern Mindanao Medical Center and other hospitals in the city, 272 were outpatients and 17 ROFs/LSIs.

The city also registered four new coronavirus-positive persons who were now tagged as "recovered." This brought the total number of recoveries in Cagayan de Oro to 19,602.

The number of Covid-19 deaths in the city remained at 853, with no new Covid-related death recorded in Cagayan de Oro.
