8 more Covid-19 patients in Cagayan de Oro recover

FOUR returning overseas Filipino workers (ROFs), three locally stranded individuals (LSIs) and one Authorized Person Outside Residence (Apor), who had tested positive for the novel coronavirus (Covid-19), are now tagged as "recovered" after swab test results came out negative on Thursday, August 6, 2020.

This brought the total number of Covid-19 recoveries in Cagayan de Oro to 113.

Among the eight recoveries is the 44-year-old male Apor from a gated community in Barangay Lumbia, who tested negative on his second swab.

Other recovered patients are:

-A 57-year-old male LSI from Taguig City and a resident of Barangay Bonbon;

-A 46-year-old male ROF from Europe and a resident of Barangay Iponan;

A 46-year-old male LSI from Cabuyao, Laguna and a resident of Barangay Tablon;

-A 38-year-old male LSI from Makati and a resident of Camp Evangelista, Barangay Patag;

-A 43-year-old male ROF from the Middle East and a resident of Barangay San Simon;

-A 38-year-old male ROF from the Middle East and a resident of Barangay Bugo; and

- A 35-year-old male ROF from the Middle East and a resident of Barangay Tablon

Acting City Health Officer Dr. Lorraine Nery said Cagayan de Oro's Covid-19 recovery rate continues to climb as the recoveries reached 65 percent.
