Fully vaccinated Kagay-anons at more than 240,000

THE total number of fully vaccinated individuals in Cagayan de Oro is now at 241,207, the City Health Office reported.

As of November 5, Cagayan de Oro has vaccinated 556,672 individuals, of which 315,465 got their first dose of the Covid-19 vaccines.

The report added that among the 556,672 vaccinees, 444,705 were vaccinated in City-run vaccination sites and 111,967 were vaccinated in Cagayan de Oro hospitals.

Of the 444,705 individuals vaccinated in City-run vaccination sites, 31,201 were frontline healthcare workers, 58,350 were senior citizens, 91,564 were persons with comorbidities, 222,961 were essential frontline workers, 25,081 were from the A5 priority group, 14,075 were from the ROAP groups, and 1,473 were from Pedia A3 and ROPP groups.

Meanwhile, there are no new mortalities of vaccinated persons in Cagayan de Oro at present.

The number of deaths involving vaccinated persons in Cagayan de Oro remains at 81.

Of the said figure, 41 were vaccinated with the Sinovac vaccine, 19 with AstraZeneca, 12 with Janssen, six with Sputnik V and three with Pfizer.

Cagayan de Oro now has a total of 839 Covid-19 deaths, in which the majority or 758 (90 percent) were unvaccinated.
