RESIDENTS of different barangays from Cagayan de Oro City need not to go to the City Hall or the National Statistics Office (NSO) of Northern Mindanao to obtain birth certificates, marriage certificates and other civil documents as the City Civil Registry Office (CCRO) spearheaded a Mobile Civil Registration.

In celebration of the National Civil Registration Month, personnel of the CCRO have visited Barangays 14, 15, 25, 26, Camaman-an, Bayanga, and Mambuaya to offer services such as registration of birth certificate, marriage certificate, petition for correction of errors/entries, and others.

Genara Alvarez, a resident of Barangay Bayanga, has expressed her gratitude for the services brought to their barangay by the CCRO.

"Nalipay kaayo ko og dako kay wala gyud ko'y birth certificate. Nagkuha ko gikan sa NSO unya negative. Karon pa gyud ko kahigayon. Nalipay ko nga di nako moadto didto pagbalik tapos di gakahuman. Edaran na baya ko, wala pako'y birth certificate," Alvarez said.

The CCRO's Mobile Civil Registration will continue its services to Barangays 19 and 30 on February 25 and Barangays 31 and 33 on February 26.
