AUTHORITIES are looking into robbery as possible motive in the killing of a retired public school teacher and another government employee in Malaybalay City, Bukidnon Monday, March 23.

Killed were Aquiliano Limocon, 62, retired teacher, and his house boarder Roger Ramonal, 52, a government worker.

Investigation disclosed that Limocon's welder, Wilfredo Eslarang, first saw the two lying lifeless on the floor when he reported for work around 7:10 a.m.

Police said Eslarang saw Ramonal in the kitchen and when he ran to the second floor to inform his employer about the incident, he saw the latter also lying on the floor lifeless.

Investigators said Ramonal sustained five stab wounds on the different parts of his body, while Limocon sustained a lone stab wound on his throat.

Authorities said there were no signs of forcible entry but several belongings were moved and two vaults were opened while a pistol case was found empty on top of the sofa.

The victims were brought to the hospital but were declared dead on arrival.

Police are still gathering evidence to identity the perpetrators.
