SIX top food businesses in Cagayan de Oro have showcased some of their best products at the International Food Exhibition (IFEX) Philippines, the country's biggest international trade show for food and ingredients held at the World Trade Center in Pasay City from May 26 to 28, 2023.

The food trade fair, which anchored on the theme: "Sharing the Love of Filipino Flavors," functioned as a one-stop business-to-business platform with IFEXConnect.com to enhance the sourcing experience for food buyers from all over the world.

It also aimed to further explore and share with the rest of the world the country's exceptional and world-class food products and ingredients, lively food communities, and complex culinary heritage.

During the three-day event, Cagayan de Oro City exhibited the products from the city's top food businesses, such as Bestfriend Goodies, Bite Me Up Food Corporation, Seabeth Food Processing (Mang Kiko's Cacao), Fire Star Dream Concoctions, Marca Leon, and Padla's Homemade Products.

Present during the event were Cagayan de Oro Vice Mayor Bebot Rodriguez; City Councilors Alam Lim, John Michael Seno, Suzette Magtajas-Daba, Ja Roa Pascual, Dra Malou Gaane, and Imee Moreno; DTI Provincial Director Almer Masilliones; PIA Assistant Secretary Nicole Managbanag; ORO TIPC assistant department head Raelita Legaspi; and City Information Officer Ivy Guantero.
