Renato A. Claravall named PVB president

THE board of directors of the Philippine Veterans Bank (PVB) approved the appointment of Renato A. Claravall as its new president and chief operating officer effective Dec. 1.

Claravall has been a director of PVB since 2015. Prior to this, he was senior vice president and chief finance officer of Benguet Corp. from 2010 to 2015, and served as director in various wholly-owned companies of Benguet Corp.

His career in banking and finance spans 45 years in both commercial and investment banking, including various senior management positions in several financial institutions, both locally and abroad.

He is also a member of the Sons & Daughters Association Inc. (SDAI), being the son of World War II veteran Juan J. Claravall. (PR)
