THE Cebu IT-BPM Organization (Cib.O) announced Friday, May 27, 2022, the assumption of Wipro’s country head Aseem Roy as the president of Cib.O.

He took over the presidency from Pert Cabataña, who retired earlier this month.

“Roy enthusiastically accepted the role with all of his heart and wisdom, and promised to direct the organization to fulfill its organizational vision,” Cib.O said in a statement.

The Wipro’s top official previously served as the organization’s vice president, simultaneously handling its international relations portfolio.

He has a rich and diversified experience managing businesses in three international locations that cover multiple customers and people in complex technology landscapes, the organization added.

Roy has over 10 years of work experience in the APJ region in his more than 20-year stint with Wipro Ltd.

He has managed different portfolios of service delivery, transition, process excellence, green field setup, and now leads the geo delivery for Wipro Ltd in the Asean.

He is a Six Sigma professional, a commerce graduate with MBA in information systems, and is avidly involved in driving Wipro’s digital offerings and business strategy at the regional level.

He has been the fundamental driving force in making Wipro among the major India-headquartered companies in the Philippines and the largest private employer in Cebu City.
