ASIA’S “Romantic Balladeer” Christian Bautista reaffirms his loyalty to GMA Network as he renewed his exclusive contract on June 24.

Christian was emotional in expressing his gratitude to GMA-7 for continuing to believe in his many talents throughout the years.

“Everything that we’ve been through together from the beginning and up to now, just got me so emotional again. I’m just very thankful. Through thick and thin, we have been together. We have done different shows and travelled the world together. Having meals together, that’s such a big thing for me as well. The friendship among everyone, artists, our bosses, working together for a common goal.”

“He has another side of him—acting. As long as we give him time and set our schedules, we hope to see him more on soap operas, mini series or anthologies,” said senior vice president for GMA Entertainment Group Lilybeth G. Rasonable.

“Also, the on ground and online concerts that will come quite soon. Because the world is opening up, we hope to be able to go out of the Philippines and continue to entertain our Kapuso abroad,” added Rasonable.

It’s a busy year ahead for Christian as he is currently a mainstay performer in the hit weekend variety program “All-Out Sundays” and gearing up for Season 4 of the all-original musical competition “The Clash.”

He is also set to top bill the upcoming online musical “Still: A Viu Original musical narrative series” alongside Asia’s Pop Diva Julie Anne San Jose. (PR)
