AppleOne celebrates its first Chinese New Year

HOMEGROWN developer AppleOne Properties Inc. welcomed the Year of the Earth Pig with its first Chinese New Year Celebration last Feb. 1 at AppleOne Equicom Tower in Cebu Business Park together with its VIP guests: Chinese Consul Cai Wen, Chinese Vice Consul Li Bingyu, Department of Tourism Region 7 Director Shahlimar Hofer Tamano and president of the Cebu Filipino-Chinese Chamber of Commerce, Ambassador Frank Benedicto.

The celebration started with a welcome message by Samantha Manigsaca, and keynote speech by assistant vice president for business development Ray Patrick Manigsaca. This was followed by the eye dotting ceremony, and the dragon and lion dances. Guests were treated to a Chinese-themed dinner at the Blue Elephant Sky Lounge, which began with a merry Yee Sang Toss prepared by Diamond Suites’ sous chef Wally Fetalvero.
