ARTHALAND, the Philippines’ foremost green developer, bagged several awards at this year’s PropertyGuru Philippines Property Awards held last July 5 at the Fairmont Hotel, Makati City. The most notable of these awards is for ArthaLand Century Pacific Tower, its 30-storey premium grade office development in Bonifacio Global City that was adjudged the Best Office Development and the Best Green Development for the third consecutive year.

On the other hand, the Cebu Exchange, ArthaLand’s signature office development in Cebu, will be the largest green office building in the Philippines with approximately 11 hectares of gross floor area and is slated for completion in 2021. It was “Highly Commended for Best Commercial Landscape Architectural Design.” The Cebu Exchange will be a well-balanced business ecosystem with smart and sustainable office technologies, plush amenities and a diverse retail mix.

The development will be divided into several sections: the podium (ground floor to eighth floor) which will be home to the lobby, car park and retail outlets; the low zone (ninth to 15th floors) which is targeted primarily for business process outsourcing companies (BPOs); the mid zone (16th to 29th floors) which will cater to large corporate offices as well as BPOs; and the high zone (30th floor to the penthouse) which will contain units that can serve as the headquarters of different corporate entities. There will be three landscaped decks: a Terrace Garden on the 12th floor, a Sky Park on the 33rd floor and a penthouse deck where people can relax and take in sweeping views of the city. Cebu Exchange is on target to achieve dual building certification for the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (Leed) and the Building for Ecologically Responsive Design Excellence (Berde). Last year, it was voted the Best Office Development in Cebu and five-star winner for Best Office Development (Philippines) by the same award giving body.
