Jenara Regis Newman

After almost a year without being able to showcase their works, the artists of Cebu Artists Incorporated (CAI) are coming up with an exhibit for a cause to be held on March 6 to 9 at the showroom of 38 Park Avenue.

According to CAI president Sonia Yrastorza, the exhibit dubbed “Pagtinabangay” (which in English, means to help one another) is meant to help alleviate the life of CAI artists who have been financially affected by the Covid-19 pandemic; to motivate the artists to continue creating art even in these difficult times; to entice the public to support the role of art in the community; and to provide help to the SRI Visayan Foundation in its efforts to propagate the importance of spiritual formation which is fundamental in creative undertakings.

The exhibiting artists are Jonathan Abellana, Lida Marie Aguilar, Darby Alcoseba, Methuzael Carredo, Cesar Castillo, Georgina Castillo, Adeste Deguilmo, Reynan Dingal, Jess Dinglasa, John Dinglasa, Jun Impas, Joseph Ong, Renulo Pautan, Celso Pepito, Fe Madrid Pepito, Ruel Rosello, Jojo Sagayno, Marlone Ylanan and Sonia Yrastorza.
