A week before Charlie came, I remembered specifically praying for a dog for my six-year-old son, Gyle. Charlie came as an answered prayer. What’s even better? Charlie’s former owner, Dothy Quemada, is now a dear friend.”

What’s the best thing about your pet?

“The best thing about Charlie is that he is a charmer. We bring him to places and he becomes an instant crowd favorite—thanks to his friendly character. He loves kids, most especially.”

What tip can you give people who want to be responsible pet owners?

“A tip to becoming responsible pet owners: Make time to brush their hair regularly. Pets love it when you make time to attend to their needs—even a simple task as brushing their hair. I find it a stress-reliever myself!”
