Savoy Hotel offers ‘Breakfast for Heroes’

SAVOY Hotel Mactan, a homegrown hotel brand by Megaworld Corp. officially launched its “Breakfast for Heroes” on April 6, 2021.

In line with the celebration of the 500 years of victory of Datu Lapu-Lapu, the hotel aims to support and revive the tourism industry in Cebu through a new level of food promotion with a wide variety of scrumptious Cebuano dishes made using the finest local ingredients, enriched with Cebuano culture and history.

There was also a budbod-making activity by Savoy Hotel Mactan pastry chef Roldan Sombilon, as well as guitar selling by CD Guitar. The event was also participated by Gleydons Lechon Belly, one of the sponsors of the event.

The “Breakfast for Heroes” is served from 6 to 10 a.m. at Savoy Café, Savoy Hotel Mactan Newtown. This includes an assortment of breads, Cebuano chorizo, beef tapa, dried squid and hot chocolate, among many others.

The “Batalla De Mactan,” an a la carte meal served from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m., features corn grits, adobong Bisaya, steamed veggies, bangus ala pobre, chicken inasal and more.
