THE ongoing campaign of Globe Telecom to prosecute fraudsters resulted in the conviction of three suspects after criminal cases were filed against them.

Winston Rafael Longcob was sentenced by the Regional Trial Court (RTC) 10 in Cebu City last May 18 to three years imprisonment after he was found guilty of estafa.

In Bacolod City, the RTC 43 found Jarryd Nielsen Villaflor and Michael Ken Ledesma guilty of violating Republic Act 8484 or Access Device Law and sentenced them both to six years in prison, plus a fine of P5,000 each last May 22.

Globe said it will continue to be relentless in pursuing all types of fraud that can damage the company’s reputation and can affect legitimate customers.
