CEBU City Mayor Edgardo Labella announced 369 new "laboratory-negative" individuals, or those have already tested negative for coronavirus, on June 5, 2020.

The bulk of these new recoveries came from the Cebu City Jail, with 339, he said.

Other patients who have recovered from the coronavirus disease (Covid-19) are from Barangays Basak Pardo (10), Mambaling (eight), Poblacion Pardo (four), Inayawan (two), San Nicolas Proper (two), and Duljo, Suba, Pasil and Ermita with one laboratory-negative each.

The 369 additional recoveries in the city brought the total to 1,557, which is equivalent to 60.28 percent recovery rate, said Labella.

The mayor also wrote on his Facebook page that there is also one new fatality -- a patient from Barangay Sawang Calero. (JJL)
