77 PUV drivers apprehended on 3rd day of MECQ

THE Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB) Central Visayas on Tuesday, August 3, 2021, apprehended drivers of 77 public utility buses and public utility jeepneys in Cebu for failure to implement minimum health and safety protocols.

LTFRB-Central Visayas Director Eduardo Montealto, Jr. said majority of the apprehensions were because of overloading or non-observance of the physical distancing among passengers, including the non-wearing of face masks and face shields.
