Cebu-based police stations reap awards during 117th PNP Service Anniversary

THE Police Regional Office (PRO) 7 recognized police offices and police officials during 117th PNP Service Anniversary.

Cebu City Police Office (CCPO) was awarded the Best City Police Office, while the Bohol Provincial Police Office bagged the award for Best Police Province Office.

This is the second time that CCPO won the distinction from the regional headquarters.

Supt. Jonathan Abella, chief of the Regional Personnel Human Resource Development Division of the PRO 7, said that the nominees were deliberated, adding that they hope the awards will boost morale and encourage the units to perform better.

“It shows that their performance showed good leadership and capability. Even those who were not included also performed well,” Abella said.

The Cebu Provincial Police Office was hailed as having the best provincial mobile force company, while the CCPO was declared as having the best mobile force company in the city-level.

The Best City Police Station award went to the Fuente Police Station, while the Best Component City Police Station went to Danao City Police Station.

Consolacion Police Station was named the Best Municipal Police Station in the region. (JOB)
