Cebu Ocean Park soft opening on August 24

CEBU Ocean Park hosted a media tour of its facilities to mark its soft launching at 2 p.m. Friday, August 23.

The new marine theme park, which boasts of having the largest oceanarium in the Philippines, will soft open at 9 a.m. Saturday, August 24, and a grand opening scheduled for October 1, 2019.

Except for the Animal Show, all attractions are ready.

These are the Oceanarium, Jungle Trek and Creepy Critters. There will also be encounters called Sea Trek, Stingray Interaction, Bird Feeding, Fish Spa, Crocodile Cage.

The park also offers event spaces and a food hall.

In its social media post, the park management said some of its educational displays and activities are not ready yet.

“We will be slowly introducing them as time goes by. Due to overwhelming requests, we will indulge you in a sneak preview but really, the best is yet to come,” it stated.

Cebu Ocean Park is an affiliate of Manila Ocean Park. Tickets are P600 per head on weekdays and P800 on weekends and holidays.
