COVID-19 cases in Cebu City remain the highest among the three highly urbanized cities in Cebu Island, while Talisay City recorded the highest number of cases among the component cities in Cebu Province.

As of Aug. 19, 2021, Minglanilla has the highest number of Covid-19 cases among the municipalities in the Province at 267.
